Students at Wolverhampton Grammar School Sixth Form can study a diverse array of courses which includes traditional A Level subjects, specialised subjects such as Politics, Economics as well as the Cambridge Technical in Sport and Physical Education or Information Technology.
Many Lower Sixth students also choose the option to take an Extended Project Qualification to boost their university application.
We build the timetable around the students’ options rather than limiting students to choose from a restricted set of subject blocks. In this way students are not limited in their combination of subjects and their interests are put first.
Our teaching time is region-leading and enables students to hone their subject knowledge. Taught in small class sizes not exceeding 15, often considerably smaller, WGS has an outstanding academic reputation and students consistently achieve excellent results at A Level and Cambridge Technical.
