Celebrate 150 years on Compton Road – Two sparkling events, one historic milestone
Join us as we mark 150 years since our school’s relocation to Compton Road with two unforgettable events—the Legacy Glitter Ball and the Sparkling Heritage Garden Party.
Each celebration offers a unique way to honour our proud past while helping to shape the future through support for bursaries and life-changing education.
Whether you're donning black tie and dancing the night away at the Glitter Ball or enjoying vintage charm and traditional fun at the Garden Party, both events will be held in a grand marquee on Moreton’s Piece and promise to bring our WGS community together in style.
Legacy Glitter Ball

Dance the night away to the sounds of The Blue Train. This is a chance to celebrate our history and invest in our future. All proceeds will contribute to supporting bursaries and transforming even more young lives.
